Advance Careers Ltd, trading as Advance Careers UK (company number 10571392). Version 2.0, effective 1 November 2026. This policy forms part of our Terms and Conditions.
If you bought your course online, by phone or by email, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of the day you bought it (the day we accepted your registration), without giving a reason. This is your right under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
Most of the programme is delivered in the first weeks - the live training, workshops, mentoring and team set-up - and your place in a class and project team is held for you from the day you enrol. These terms reflect that.
| When you withdraw | What happens |
|---|---|
| After the 14-day cooling-off period, before your class start date | We refund what you've paid, less the £200 access, training and admin fee (see below). Any remaining instalments are cancelled. |
| Weeks 1 to 3 after your class start date | 50% of the total programme fee is payable. If you've paid more than that, we refund the difference; if you've paid less, the balance up to 50% is due. Instalments beyond that are cancelled. |
| Week 4 onwards | The full programme fee is payable. No refund is due, and any outstanding instalments remain payable on their dates. |
Your class start date is the start date of the class you're enrolled in, as shown in your student portal and your offer letter. A week is counted from that date.
This covers costs we incur as soon as you enrol: setting up and giving you access to the learning portal, course videos and materials; enrolment and onboarding administration; reserving your place in a class and project team; and the training resources prepared for you. It is never more than you've actually paid.
If you can't continue with your class, you can ask to move to a later one instead of withdrawing:
Email hello@advancecareersuk.com (or write to us at 34 Marmion Way, Ashford, Kent, TN23 5HY) with your name, the email address on your account and your course. You can use the form below, but you don't have to. We confirm we've received it within 3 working days.
Telling us you're cancelling is what counts - stopping attending, or cancelling a card or Direct Debit, is not a cancellation, and the fees under section 2 still apply.
If you pay in instalments, the amounts and dates in your payment plan are a commitment to pay the programme fee, not a subscription you can stop. When you withdraw, we cancel any instalments you no longer owe under section 2 and stop any automatic card or Direct Debit payments for them. Instalments you still owe remain payable on their dates.
You pay nothing at checkout. If you cancel within your 14-day cooling-off period, nothing is charged except a proportionate amount for what you've used if you asked to start straight away (section 1). If you withdraw after that, section 2 applies: what's payable becomes due on your payment dates (from your job, or the long-stop date, whichever comes first), and anything not payable under section 2 is cancelled.
A full scholarship has no fee to refund. If you leave the programme, your place and scholarship end; you don't owe anything unless the scholarship was obtained with false information.
If we cancel your class or can't provide the course or practical work experience, you can choose a full refund of what you've paid for the part we can't provide, or a place in the next available class at no extra cost. We'll give you at least 14 days' notice of any significant change to dates or content, and if a change is significant and you don't want to continue, you may withdraw with a refund for the part not yet provided.
If we end your place because of a serious breach of our Terms and Conditions - for example sharing your login or course materials, misconduct towards students, staff or clients, or not paying - section 2 applies as at the date your place ends.
If you have a concern about a payment, please contact us first at hello@advancecareersuk.com so we can resolve it quickly. We acknowledge payment queries within 2 working days and aim to resolve them within 14 days. This doesn't affect your rights with your bank or card provider. If a payment is disputed with a bank or card provider without first contacting us, we will give them evidence of your registration, your agreement to these terms and your use of the course.
If serious illness, bereavement or similar circumstances outside your control stop you continuing, tell us. We'll look at deferral first, and may at our discretion offer a refund beyond this policy. We may ask for reasonable evidence.
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 if a service isn't provided with reasonable care and skill or as described.
